THE CHALLENGE

Wholesale Domestic is a long-established UK bathroom retailer serving both trade and retail customers with an extensive range of bathroom products.

Despite having invested in Klaviyo at a prior stage, the demands on its lean internal team meant the platform’s wider capabilities remained largely untapped. CRM activity relied heavily on individual campaigns, with only one automated flow live. This limited the contribution email could make across the customer lifecycle, while SMS had yet to become a meaningful part of the channel mix.

The business also lacked a complete view of CRM performance. Trade revenue generated offline was not connected to Klaviyo, making it difficult to understand the channel’s full commercial impact.

Wholesale Domestic needed an approach that could deliver measurable returns quickly, while giving its team the foundations and confidence to develop the channel over time. That’s why they turned to Glass Atlas. The Challenge

Glass Atlas began by establishing a six-month roadmap focused on the opportunities most likely to create immediate commercial value. The programme was scheduled to finish well ahead of Black Friday, giving the team time to embed the new approach before its most important trading period.

The first priority was to move CRM beyond campaign-led activity. A core suite of automated lifecycle flows created a more consistent source of always-on revenue and provided a framework that Wholesale Domestic could continue to expand. We also introduced SMS as part of the same customer journey, rather than as a standalone channel, allowing email and mobile communications to work together more effectively.

Our programme also addressed the data and operational foundations behind the channel. We integrated ERP data with Klaviyo, bringing offline trade revenue into the performance picture for the first time. Deliverability considerations informed segmentation, data capture, content and campaign planning throughout.

Alongside delivery, working sessions, training and practical exercises helped the Wholesale Domestic team build its confidence using Klaviyo. This ensured the programme created internal capability as well as short-term performance improvements.

THE SOLUTION

THE RESULTS

With Glass Atlas, Wholesale Domestic reached payback on its  investment within just three months. This gave the business an early return while leaving it with a broader automation programme, stronger data and a more capable internal team.

The programme generated seven times as many new consented sign-ups as the equivalent period in the previous year, all while driving more revenue and recurring purchases year on year.

We knew Klaviyo had potential before working with Glass Atlas, but we weren’t getting close to maximising it. The impact of their work has been significant: not just in terms of revenue, but in how we think about retention as a channel. We now have a clear strategy, better data, and the confidence to keep building on what’s been delivered.
