A big thank you to everyone who attended my Athens SEO presentation on how to automate areas of technical SEO using Screaming Frog CLI and n8n.

It was a brilliant opportunity to represent Glass Atlas in Greece and share a practical look at how technical SEO workflows can be automated using tools many SEOs are already familiar with.

Recap: what we covered

The session focused on a simple idea: a lot of technical SEO work is repeatable, structured, and data-led. That makes it a strong fit for automation when the right tools are connected in the right way.

Screaming Frog CLI gives us the crawl data. n8n gives us the workflow layer. Put them together and you can start building systems that crawl, clean, compare, store, summarise, alert, and report without needing to manually repeat the same checks every time.

This is not about replacing technical SEO judgement. It is about removing repetitive tasks so teams can spend more time investigating issues, prioritising recommendations, and explaining what matters.

Get started with these free resources

The n8n workflows and supporting Python scripts that I showcased in my presentation are now available to you to download for free. These are intended as starter examples rather than polished products. You will need to review them, adapt them to your own setup, and add your own credentials where required.

That includes anything connected to Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Chat, Slack, APIs, local paths, Screaming Frog configuration files, or other services used in your own workflow.

Thanks again to everyone who attended, asked questions, or came over for a chat afterwards, and thank you to the team at Athens SEO for organising such a wonderful conference.
